COTTON
Made from combed cotton to give a smooth surface. Globally recognized as the most preferred fiber for its comfort, cotton ensures a comfortable wearing experience. Specs indicate 100% cotton composition.
COTTON ELASTANE
A blended yarn of cotton and elastomeric fiber, commonly referred to as elastane. Typically, the blend consists of 95% cotton and 5% elastane. Elastane enhances the garment’s stretchiness, ensuring added comfort and maintaining its shape over time.
QUICKDRY
Made from 100% polyester, the yarn is coated with a quick dry solution and is then heat-sealed, which is knitted into fabric. This innovative technique ensures that the garment actively removes moisture from the skin and transports it to the fabric’s surface, where it can evaporate. As a result, the garment remains cool and dry throughout wear, providing optimal comfort.
SHOWERPROOF
Fabrics are treated with a coating on the inside to reduce water penetrating through them. The showerproof fabric allows the wearer to be in light rain for 10-20 minutes before water will penetrate through.
UV40+
This coating effectively blocks UV rays from penetrating the fabric. Additionally, certain fabrics, such as heavy-weight nylon elastane, provide built-in UV protection due to their construction, commonly found in outdoor clothing and workwear. The UV rating aligns with sunblock ratings in Australia and New Zealand, ensuring reliable protection against harmful UV radiation.
WATERPROOF
A laminated TPN membrane technology allows this fabric to be fully waterproof and breathable for the ultimate comfort in wet weather.
ANTI-STATIC
Polyester yarn undergoes a process where a liquid coating is applied to prevent the conduction of electricity when in contact with other synthetic garments or surfaces, ensuring comfort and safety when worn.
REFLECTIVE
Garments feature strips of reflective tape, which help to enhance visibility when worn in dim light or darkness.
COTTON/POLY
Crafted from a blended yarn of cotton and polyester. Specs: 60 – 80% cotton and 20 – 40% polyester, which is great for people who like to wear cotton but enjoy a stronger, longer-lasting garment.
POLY/COTTON
Crafted from a blend of polyester and cotton, Poly/Cotton yarn combines the durability of polyester with the comfort of cotton. Specs range from 60 – 65% polyester and 30 – 35% cotton. Poly/Cotton is known for its hardiness and durability. This blend offers the added benefits of being relatively wrinkle-free and easy to care for.
RIPSTOP FABRIC
A strong fabric that is made by adding thicker yarns in the warp and weft at regular intervals to make the appearance of small squares or rectangles. This design enhances the fabric’s durability, helping to prevent rips and tears. Heavier ripstop is commonly employed in yacht sails, whereas finer ripstop finds application in outdoor clothing and workwear due to its versatility and strength.
DINTEX
Our brand of fabric that is microporous – which means that it is 3 layers that are bonded together, creating a windproof and showerproof garment, and providing excellent warmth and comfort whilst remaining lightweight.
MERINO
The hardiest of wool fibers utilized in clothing, merino produces beautiful garments known for their longevity. Recent technological advancements enable machine washing of this fabric, albeit on a wool cycle using wool detergent. Merino fabric boasts excellent breathability, ensuring ultimate comfort in garments.
ANTI-PILL
To prevent fibers from forming small balls on the garment’s surface, also known as pilling, a heat-treated liquid coating is applied to 100% polyester yarn.
WINDPROOF
Fabrics are treated with an internal coating to resist wind, ensuring warmth and comfort.
ANTI PILL YARN
